Celluloid
Literati: An Evening of Experimental Films
Ted
Passon (Small Change Screening Series) curates an evening of
experimental films that tackle the literary form. Through a
Reading Rainbow episode geared for the aesthetic revolution,
deconstructing and literally
re-animating
the New York Times, to an abstract portrait of "anti-reading,"
these contemporary underground films visualize the intersection
of the written word into our plans, failures, hopes, and dreams.
After the collection catch a rare screening of Pull My Daisy
narrated by Jack Kerouac and starring Allen Ginsberg and
Alice Neel.
