Alumni Lectures

featuring Jonathan Gaev (1980, 1982)

In 2004, we started a tradition of inviting our alumni back to the House to speak at our IHouse Lecture Series about their expertise and/or life experiences with other members of our global community.

For the past several years, an American alumnus from the 1980’s, Jonathan Gaev, has shown leadership in this series by conducting a variety of seminars to counsel our residents and other IHouse affiliates on the nuances of social norms, key aspects of American culture, and effective public speaking and presentation techniques.

Jonathan Gaev has extensive work experience in nearly 30 countries across Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He studied in Mexico, Israel, and the U.S. and delivered over 100 presentations in English, French, Portuguese, and Spanish. Jonathan has also appeared on television and radio shows in Barbados, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Poland, Portugal, Venezuela, and the U.S.

We wish to thank Jonathan for his great presentations and active involvement in the International House community.
