Victoria Bruce & Karin Hayes in person
In
February 2002, in the midst of her controversial campaign for
president, Senator Ingrid Betancourt was kidnapped and became
one of the thousands of victims of Colombia’s 40-year-old civil
war. Using voiceovers from radio interviews taken before she
was abducted, footage from the campaign trail and a chilling
proof of life video released by her captors, Betancourt narrates
her own story.
