Hong
Kong, 1962: Chow Mo-wan and Su Li-zhen move into neighboring
apartments on the same day. Their encounters are polite and
formal—until a discovery about their respective spouses sparks
an intimate bond. At once delicately mannered and visually stunning,
Wong Kar-wai’s In the Mood for Love is a masterful
evocation of romantic longing and fleeting moments in time.
…whole
continents of emotions go unexplored in Wong Kar-wai's "In
the Mood for Love," a lush story of unrequited love that
looks the way its songs sound. Many of them are by Nat King
Cole, but the instrumental "Green Eyes," suggesting
jealousy, is playing when they figure out why her husband and
his wife always seem to be away at the same times.

Gripping...
Brilliant… Breathtakingly gorgeous… Dizzy with a romantic spirit
that has been missing from the cinema forever.
