Jerzy
Skolimowski: Inside/Outside
Co-presented
by The Koscuiuszko Foundation + Lot Airlines
From
his time as actor, writer and filmmaker in his native Poland
to the years after his self-imposed exile, Jerzy Skolimowski
established himself as one of the most diverse storytellers
in 20 th Century cinema. While he may not be a household name
(his films The Shout, Moonlighting and Success
is the Best Revenge were huge critical success in the
1970s and 80s), he is certainly one of the most fascinating
figures to emerge from the Eastern European New Wave. With selections
from his early period working in Poland to his first English
language film, this unjustly neglected director has the chance
to be rediscovered by another generation of filmgoers.
