International House of Philadelphia is an independent non-profit organization

and a unique residential community for students, scholars, interns and professional trainees from over 50 countries, including the U.S., as well as

a public venue for arts, cultural and geo-political programs that foster global thought and insight. As home to 350 residents attending more than 25 area institutions of higher learning, International House is an incubator for future global leaders. 

As Philadelphia's center for internationalism, International House is part

 The Philadelphia Foundation

is a pool of over 700 permanent, charitable trust funds that have been created since 1918 to improve the quality of life in Southeastern Pennsylvania. For more than three generations, people of modest and magnificent means have been turning to The Philadelphia Foundation as their philanthropic partner.

 Greater Philadelphia Global Partners (GP2)

provides a forum through which businesses and organizations can reach out to one another, learn from one another, and work together to establish the Greater Philadelphia Region as an international leader in commerce. GP2 was created to coordinate and mobilize the resources in the Region to facilitate international trade; to identify opportunities for foreign trade investment; to encourage travel and tourism; to attract and retain talented students and skilled professionals; and to promote cultural and economic linkages with global partners.
