The Resident Advisory
and Activities Center (RAAC) plans trips, social events and
provides FREE tickets to residents for cultural
programs at International House.
Currently we offer
over 150 cultural, educational, and social programs
to help our 
residents and other foreign students adjust to life in Philadelphia.
Our programs and services are designed to make students feel
welcome at International House, comfortable with other residents,
and familiar with the many advantages that the Philadelphia
area provides. They provide all of our residents, both foreign
and American students alike, with cross-cultural understanding
and skills necessary for leadership in today’s global economy.
Programs and services include an extensive orientation program,
Spoken English and Foreign Languge classes, conflict resolution
workshops, cultural leadership training, and a full calendar
of in-house arts programs and city-wide events.
You will never search for something
to do with all we have planned!
