Theater Renovation

Thanks to a very generous gift from Board member SA Ibrahim and his wife

Nina, IHP will soon have an upgraded theater. Their gift, as well as a grant

from the City of Philadelphia and another anonymous donor will provide

the funds necessary to complete major renovations.

Over the next eight months, approximately $475,000 will be spent on these improvements. Work will be split into two phases. In January we are upgrading sound system for a better concert experience. The second phase will take

place through mid-July to mid-September with new seats and acoustic panels,

floor, stage and wall refurbishment.

Come September we will have super facilities for you to sit back and enjoy

the wonderful film and music programs our Curators have developed for you.
