Reelblack closes its sixth season with a special work-in-progress
screening of it's latest feature-length documentary. On
September 19, 2006, to celebrate their eight years of marriage,
Philly's own Aja and Fatin Danzler of Kindred The Family Soul
invited some of Philly's hottest music acts on the stage where
many of them first gained fame - Old City's The Five Spot.
For over six hours, these all-star veterans took the stage for
what would prove to be the last time in the space they called
home.
Less than five months later, the Five Spot would be reduced
to ashes in an early morning fire. What survives are the memories
of that night captured in this visual valentine, Last Night
at The Five Spot.
