In
2005, Scribe Video Center trained a number of neighborhood groups
in filmmaking and research techniques as part of a unique community
video history project – Precious Places. Members of
these organizations dispersed throughout the region recording
stories of past grandeur, current struggles, and future aspirations
for their communities. Join in the celebration of this most
recent Precious Places videos with a post-screening
discussion with the video makers and an informal reception.
