East is explored by Ya'akov Lozowic, author of the book The
Right to Exist; A Moral Defense of Israel’s Wars and the
powerful film Relentless. Ya'akov Lozowic will moderate

to the film Relentless and the politics of the peace process.

to reveal a behind-the-scenes look at Palestinian politics and
culture. “I strongly recommend the film Relentless to all those
concerned with peace in the Middle East, as it provides a comprehensive
understanding of the critical issues facing Israel andthe Western
World today. It is a must-see for anyone who cares about a better
future for both the Palestinians and Israelis.” Natan Sharansky,

and Diaspora Affairs, Israel Ya’akov Lozowic is the Director
of Archives at Yad Vashem, Israel’s national authority for commemoration
of the Holocaust. His publications include numerous on the Holocaust
and on German Jewish relations, as well as the book titled Hitler’s
Bureaucrats; The Nazi Security Police and the Banality of Evil.
His present book The Right to Exist; a Moral Defense of
Israel’s Wars , is written from the perspective of a long-time
member of Israel’s peace camp, forced by the latest developments
since September 2000, to re-evaluate his political views and
his basic understanding of the terms of Israel’s existence.
